Glimepiride 1 Mg + Metformin Hydrochloride 500 Mg PR (Prolonged Release) tablet is a combination medication used to Treat high blood sugar levels in Two types of diabetes patients. It is a prescription medication that combines two active ingredients: Glimepiride and Metformin Hydrochloride. The combination of Glimepiride 1 Mg + Metformin Hydrochloride 500 Mg PR tablet in a prolonged-release (PR) or extended-release (ER) formulation is commonly used in the management of type 2 diabetes. Many people can control type 2 diabetes with diet and exercise. Following a specially planned diet and exercise will always be important when you have diabetes, even when you are taking medicines. To work properly, the amount of metformin and glimrpiride you take must be balanced against the amount and type of food you eat and the amount of exercise you do. Metformin and Glimepiride is an antidiabetic agent that manages high blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes patients.
