Introduction :

Glipizide 5 Mg + Metformin 500 Mg tablet is indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, particularly when blood sugar levels are not adequately controlled by diet and exercise alone. It helps to lower blood sugar levels by addressing different aspects of glucose metabolism: Glipizide stimulates insulin release from the pancreas, thereby reducing blood sugar levels. Mechanism of Action :

Metformin reduces hepatic glucose production, enhances peripheral glucose uptake and utilization, and decreases intestinal glucose absorption.
