CETIRIZINE 5 MG + PHENYLEPHRINE 5 MG + PARACETAMOL 325 MG
Introduction : Cetirizine Dihydrochloride 5 Mg + Phenylephrine Hcl 5 Mg + Paracetamol 325 Mg tablet is commonly used for the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, and the common cold. It provides relief from symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, sinus pressure, headache, and fever.
Indication : This combination medication is used to alleviate symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, itching, runny or stuffy nose, and watery eyes. Cetirizine helps relieve allergy symptoms by blocking the action of histamine, while phenylephrine acts as a decongestant to reduce nasal congestion, and paracetamol provides relief from associated headaches and fever.
These tablets are also indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with the common cold and flu, including nasal congestion, sinus pressure, headache, and fever. The antihistamine and decongestant properties of cetirizine and phenylephrine help alleviate cold symptoms, while paracetamol provides analgesic and antipyretic effects to reduce fever and relieve pain.
Administration : "You may take this medicine with or without food.
It is important to follow the recommended dosage and not exceed the maximum daily dose.
Storage : Store the medicine at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.
Mechanism of Action : Cetirizine Dihydrochloride: Cetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine that works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergy symptoms such as itching, sneezing, and runny nose.
Phenylephrine HCl: Phenylephrine is a decongestant that works by constricting blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion.
Paracetamol: Paracetamol is a pain reliever and fever reducer that works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins in the brain, which are involved in the perception of pain and regulation of body temperature.

Safety Advice / Warnings : This medicine may cause some people to become drowsy, sleepy, or less alert than they are normally. Make sure you know how you react to this medicine before you drive, use machines, or do anything else that could be dangerous if you are not alert.
Instruct patient to avoid using contact lenses if eyes are red. Drug should not be used to treat contact lens-related irritation
Patient to avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants during therapy
