How To Use of Ergotamine 1 Mg + Caffeine 100 Mg + Paracetamol 250 Mg + Prochlorperazine 2.5 Mg Tablet
Take the tablet at the earliest sign of a migraine attack, as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not exceed the prescribed dose or maximum daily/weekly limits. This medicine is not intended for daily use or migraine prevention. Avoid taking additional medicines containing Paracetamol unless advised by your healthcare provider.

You are taking strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (such as certain macrolide antibiotics, azole antifungals, or protease inhibitors), as they may increase the risk of ergot toxicity. You have hemiplegic or basilar migraine.

Ergotamine stimulates serotonin (5-HT1) receptors, causing constriction of dilated cranial blood vessels and reducing migraine pain. Caffeine enhances the absorption and therapeutic effect of ergotamine and may contribute to headache relief. Paracetamol acts centrally to reduce pain by inhibiting central prostaglandin synthesis. Prochlorperazine blocks dopamine (D2) receptors in the brain, relieving nausea and vomiting associated with migraine.
