Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride 0.05% w/v Nasal Spray is a topical nasal decongestant used for the temporary relief of nasal congestion associated with the common cold, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, and hay fever. It provides rapid relief from a blocked nose by reducing swelling and congestion in the nasal passages, thereby improving airflow and making breathing easier. Oxymetazoline belongs to the class of alpha-adrenergic agonists. When applied intranasally, it constricts the blood vessels in the nasal mucosa, reducing inflammation and congestion. The effect typically begins within minutes and may last for several hours.

This medication is commonly used for the temporary relief of nasal congestion and to improve breathing through the nose. It may be used for: Nasal congestion due to common cold Allergic rhinitis (hay fever Sinusitis Upper respiratory tract infections This medicine provides symptomatic relief and does not treat the underlying cause of the condition.

Use as directed by your doctor or as per product instructions. For adults and children above 12 years: Usually 1–2 drops or sprays in each nostril, up to 2–3 times daily. Do not use for more than 3–5 consecutive days, as prolonged use may cause rebound congestion. Clean the nozzle before and after use. Do not share the bottle to prevent infection.

Store below 25–30°C. Keep the bottle tightly closed and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
