Introduction : Cilnidipine 5 MG Tablet is a medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure. This medicine works by relaxing your blood vessels, and improving free blood flow, thus lowering your blood pressure.
CILNIDIPINE 5mg belongs to a class of medicines called calcium channel blockers which are primarily taken for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain). Hypertension (high blood pressure) is a lifelong or chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery walls becomes high. Higher this blood pressure, harder the heart has to pump.
CILNIDIPINE 5mg contains Cilnidipine, a calcium channel blocker that acts by relaxing the blood vessels. This reduces the workload on the heart and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Thus, it helps to lower high blood pressure, reducing the chances of heart attack or stroke.
Indication : Cilnidipine 5mg is indicated for the management of hypertension
Hypertension is the term used to describe the presence of high blood pressure. The blood pressure is generated by the force of the blood pumped from the heart against the blood vessels. Thus hypertension is caused when there is too much pressure on the blood vessels and this effect can damage the blood vessel.
Administration : Cilnidipine 5 MG Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose will be decided by your doctor depending on your condition. Take this medicine at the same time every day to maintain a constant level in the blood. It is a long-term treatment hence, do not stop using this medicine without consulting your doctor. Abrupt stopping can cause unwanted side effects or a sudden increase in your blood pressure.
