Disulfiram 500mg tablet is used along with counseling and support to treat alcoholism. Disulfiram works by blocking the processing of alcohol in the body. This causes you to have a bad reaction when you drink alcohol. Disulfiram 500mg tablet is used to treat chronic alcoholism. It causes unpleasant effects when even small amounts of alcohol are consumed.

The dose of this medicine will be different for different patients. Follow your doctor's orders or the directions on the label.

Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.

Drowsines, lightheadness, weakenss, dry mouth, headache ,Mental confusion, choking, sweating.

Evidence and/or expert consensus has demonstrated harmful infant effects when used during breastfeeding. This medicine may cause some people to become drowsy or less alert than they are normally. Do not drink any alcohol, even small amounts, while you are taking this medicine and for 14 days after you stop taking it, because the alcohol may make you very sick. Do not use any alcohol-containing products on raw skin or open wounds.
