PREGABALIN 75 MG + NORTRIPTYLINE 10 MG
Introduction : the combination of Pregabalin and Nortriptyline provides synergistic pain relief and improved symptom control in neuropathic pain conditions such as diabetic neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia, and neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury.
The combination therapy of Pregabalin 75mcg and Nortriptyline 10mg tablet may provide comprehensive symptom management and improved quality of life for patients with fibromyalgia.
Indication : Pregabalin 75mcg and Nortriptyline 10mg tablet is primarily used for the management of neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain arises from damage or dysfunction of the nervous system and can be chronic and debilitating.
Pregabalin, an anticonvulsant medication, helps alleviate neuropathic pain by modulating calcium channels in the central nervous system, thereby reducing the release of neurotransmitters involved in pain signaling.
Nortriptyline, a tricyclic antidepressant, is used off-label for the management of neuropathic pain, where its analgesic effects are believed to be mediated through its effects on neurotransmitter levels in the central nervous system.
Administration : Administer orally with or without food, as directed by the healthcare provider. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush, chew, or break it.

Mechanism of Action : Pregabalin: It is an anticonvulsant and analgesic medication that binds to calcium channels in the central nervous system, modulating the release of neurotransmitters involved in pain signaling. Pregabalin is effective in treating neuropathic pain associated with conditions such as diabetic neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia, and fibromyalgia.
Nortriptyline: It is a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) that inhibits the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, leading to increased neurotransmitter levels. Nortriptyline is used off-label for the management of neuropathic pain, where its analgesic effects are believed to be mediated through its effects on neurotransmitter levels in the central nervous system.
Therapeutic : analgesics and neurological agents.
