Introduction :

The combination of Atorvastatin 20 Mg & Aspirin 75 Mg tablet is often prescribed to individuals at an increased risk of cardiovascular events, such as those with a history of heart disease or diabetes, to address both cholesterol levels and the risk of blood clots. Aspirin 75mg is used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events, such as heart attacks and strokes, in individuals with a history of cardiovascular disease. Atovastatin 20mg is used together with a proper diet to lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides (fats) in the blood, and to increase your good cholesterol (HDL). It is also used to treat adults who cannot control their cholesterol levels by diet and exercise alone.

Indication :

Atovastatin 20mg that works by reducing the amount of ?bad? cholesterol (LDL) and raising the amount of ?good? cholesterol (HDL) in blood. High levels of cholesterol can cause narrowing of the blood vessels (atherosclerosis). Lowering the amount of cholesterol reduces the chances of heart diseases and stroke and helps one remain healthier for longer. Aspirin 75mg, a blood thinner, that prevents the formation of blood clots and the existing ones from growing bigger in size. Take it regularly and make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthy and staying active) to maximize the effectiveness of this medicine.

Administration :

Mechanism of Action :

Aspirin 150 mg: Aspirin is also an antiplatelet medication that helps prevent blood clots. It works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase, which is involved in the production of thromboxane A2, a substance that promotes platelet aggregation. Atorvastatin: Inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, thereby reducing cholesterol synthesis and LDL levels, and increasing HDL levels.

Contraindications :

Hypersensitivity to NSAIDs Syndrome of asthma, rhinitis, and nasal polyps; severe urticaria, angioedema, or bronchospasm may occur
