NEBIVOLOL HYDROCHLORIDE 2.5 MG

Below are the product's comprehensive details, including its indications, administration, storage, side effects, safety advice, references, mechanism of action, and therapeutic uses.

Nebivolol 2.5 mg Tablet is a medicine used for lowering high blood pressure. It is also used to prevent other complications associated with increased blood pressure like heart attack, stroke (brain damage due to interrupted blood flow) and migraine (severe headache accompanied by nausea and light sensitivity). Nebivolol 5 MG Tablet is available in different doses (2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg, 20 mg). This medicine relaxes your blood vessels while also slowing the activity of your heart. As a result, your blood pressure drops, and it becomes easier for your heart to pump blood throughout your body.

May take with or without food

Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.

Drug may cause headache, insomnia, diarrhea, nausea, chest pain, or peripheral edema.

Avoid use of this drug during pregnancy and prescribe an alternative. Evidence has demonstrated fetal abnormalities or risks when used during pregnancy. Evidence and/or expert consensus has demonstrated harmful infant effects when used during breastfeeding

Many patients who have high blood pressure will not notice any signs of the problem. In fact, many may feel normal. It is very important that you take your medicine exactly as directed and that you keep your appointments with your doctor even if you feel well. This medicine may cause changes in your blood sugar levels. Also, this medicine may cover up signs of low blood sugar, such as a rapid pulse rate. Check with your doctor if you have these problems or if you notice a change in the results of your blood or urine sugar tests. Before you have any medical tests, tell the medical doctor in charge that you are taking this medicine. The results of some tests may be affected by this medicine. This medicine may cause some people to become less alert than they are normally. If this side effect occurs, do not drive, use machines, or do anything else that could be dangerous if you are not alert while taking nebivolol.
