Gliclazide 40 Mg + Metformin Hydrocloride 500 Mg + Voglibose 0.2 Mg

It is typically taken orally, usually once or twice daily, with meals. Tablets are for oral use. Take your tablet with a glass of water (and preferably at the same time each day). Swallow your tablets whole. Do not chew them.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not store above 25C. Store in the original package

Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), Gastrointestinal discomfort (such as nausea, diarrhea, or abdominal pain), Weight gain (less common with metformin), Headache, Dizziness, Skin rash or itching, Hypersensitivity reactions (rare).

If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine. You must not take this medicine while you are breast-feeding

This medicine be used with caution in elderly patients, as they may be more susceptible to hypoglycemia and other adverse effects. Patients should be advised to avoid excessive alcohol consumption while taking Gliclazide, as alcohol may potentiate the risk of hypoglycemia. Tablets are not recommended for use during pregnancy. You must not take this medicine while you are breast-feeding Drinking alcohol is not recommended as it can alter the control of your diabetes in an unpredictable manner.

Gliclazide stimulates the release of insulin from the pancreas, which helps to lower blood sugar levels. Metformin reduces glucose production in the liver, increases insulin sensitivity in peripheral tissues, and decreases intestinal glucose absorption. Voglibose inhibits alpha-glucosidase enzymes in the intestines, delaying the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates, thereby reducing postprandial blood sugar levels.
