GLICLAZIDE 40 MG + METFORMIN HYDROCLORIDE 500 MG + VOGLIBOSE 0.2 MG
Introduction : Gliclazide 40 Mg + Metformin Hydrocloride 500 Mg + Voglibose 0.2 Mg tablet is commonly prescribed for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Each component of the combination works in different ways to help control blood sugar levels:
Gliclazide is a sulfonylurea medication that stimulates the release of insulin from the pancreas, thereby lowering blood sugar levels.
Metformin is a biguanide medication that reduces glucose production in the liver, improves insulin sensitivity, and enhances glucose uptake by muscle cells.
Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that slows down the absorption of carbohydrates from the digestive tract, resulting in lower post-meal blood sugar levels.
Indication : High blood sugar levels after meals, is a common problem in individuals with diabetes. Gliclazide 40 mg + Metformin Hydrochloride 500 mg + Voglibose 0.2 mg combination medication is particularly effective in controlling postprandial hyperglycemia. Voglibose, an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor, delays the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates from the gut, thereby reducing the rise in blood sugar levels after meals.
This medication is prescribed for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps control blood sugar levels by addressing multiple aspects of glucose metabolism.

Mechanism of Action : Gliclazide stimulates the release of insulin from the pancreas, which helps to lower blood sugar levels.
