Mechanism of Action : Teneligliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor. It works by inhibiting the action of the enzyme DPP-4, which leads to increased levels of incretin hormones (such as GLP-1 and GIP).
These incretins increase insulin secretion from pancreatic beta cells and decrease glucagon secretion from pancreatic alpha cells, thereby lowering blood sugar levels.
