By inhibiting neprilysin, sacubitril increases the levels of natriuretic peptides, resulting in vasodilation and natriuresis, which helps reduce blood pressure and improve heart failure symptoms. Valsartan: It is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). Valsartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict, thereby reducing blood pressure and workload on the heart.
