Levocetirizine 5mg tablet is effective in relieving symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, itching, runny nose, and nasal congestion. It is commonly used to alleviate discomfort caused by seasonal allergies (hay fever) or perennial allergies (allergies to substances present year-round).

You may take this medicine with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole. If you need a lower dose, your doctor may tell you to break the tablet in half.

Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.

Side effects may include nasopharyngitis, fatigue, dry mouth, pharyngitis, cough, epistaxis, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, and otitis media, dizziness.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

This medicine may make you tired or drowsy. Do not drive or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid alcoholic beverages . Alcohol may make effect worse or increase the possibility of dizziness.
