NIMESULIDE 100 MG + PARACETAMOL 325 MG
Introduction : Nimesulide 100 Mg + Paracetamol 325 Mg tablet medication is typically prescribed for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with various conditions, including:
Musculoskeletal Disorders: Nimesulide and Paracetamol combination can be used to alleviate pain and inflammation caused by musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
Acute Pain: It may also be used to relieve acute pain due to conditions such as dental pain, postoperative pain, menstrual cramps, and sports injuries.
Indication : It is used to treat pain and fever. It provides relief from mild to moderate pain due to menstrual cramps and osteoarthritis. It decreases the intensity of pain signals to the brain and also prevents the release of substances called prostaglandins in the brain that cause pain and fever.
Administration : tablets should be taken orally with a full glass of water, preferably with or after meals to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal side effects.
It is essential to swallow the tablet whole without chewing or crushing it.
Storage : Protect from moisture or light and store below 30 degrees Celsius (C))
Mechanism of Action : Nimesulide: It inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), thereby suppressing the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are mediators of inflammation, pain, and fever.
Paracetamol: It is thought to exert its analgesic and antipyretic effects by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system.

Side Effects : Gastrointestinal disturbances (e.g., nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, abdominal pain)

Contraindications : Evidence has demonstrated fetal abnormalities or risks when used during pregnanc
Safety Advice / Warnings : Use with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding disorders, liver dysfunction, or renal impairment.
Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication, as it may increase the risk of liver toxicity associated with paracetamol.
