Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. Patients inadequately controlled with diet, exercise, or dual oral antidiabetic therapy. To improve glycemic control as part of a comprehensive diabetes management plan.
How To Use of Dapagliflozin 10 Mg + Glimepiride 2 Mg + Metformin Hydrochloride (er) 1000 Mg Tablet
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your physician. Usually taken once daily with the main meal or as directed. Swallow the extended-release tablet whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or split the tablet. Take with food to reduce gastrointestinal side effects and the risk of hypoglycemia. Maintain adequate hydration during treatment. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose.

Monitor blood glucose and HbA1c regularly. Maintain adequate fluid intake to reduce the risk of dehydration. Take the medicine with meals. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption due to the increased risk of lactic acidosis and hypoglycemia.

Mechanism of Dapagliflozin 10 Mg + Glimepiride 2 Mg + Metformin Hydrochloride (er) 1000 Mg Tablet
Dapagliflozin: Selectively inhibits SGLT2 in the proximal renal tubules, reducing glucose reabsorption and increasing urinary glucose excretion, thereby lowering blood glucose levels. Glimepiride: Stimulates insulin secretion by binding to sulfonylurea receptors (SUR1) on pancreatic beta cells, increasing endogenous insulin release. Metformin Hydrochloride ER: Reduces hepatic glucose production, decreases intestinal glucose absorption, and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity. The extended-release formulation provides sustained glucose-lowering action with improved gastrointestinal tolerability.
