How To Use of Sertaconazole Nitrate 2% W/w Cream
Clean and dry the affected area before application. Apply a thin layer of the cream or ointment to the affected area as directed by the physician. Usually applied daily at regular intervals, Use as directed by a physician. Wash hands before and after application.
Storage of Sertaconazole Nitrate 2% W/w Cream
Store in a cool, dry place below 25–30°C. Protect from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep tightly closed and out of reach of children.

Mechanism of Sertaconazole Nitrate 2% W/w Cream
Sertaconazole nitrate is an imidazole antifungal agent that has no precise mechanism of action, although it is believed to exert its effect by blocking the cytochrome P450-dependent synthesis of ergosterol, which is a vital element of fungal cell membrane. This action reduces ergosterol which causes leakage of important cytoplasmic constituents from the cell and subsequent fungal cell injury
