Introduction : Cilnidipine 10 MG Tablet is a medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure. This medicine works by relaxing your blood vessels, and improving free blood flow, thus lowering your blood pressure.
Metoprolol is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). High blood pressure adds to the workload of the heart and arteries.
Metoprolol is also used to treat severe chest pain (angina) and lowers the risk of repeated heart attacks. It is given to people who have already had a heart attack. In addition, metoprolol is used to treat patients with heart failure.
Indication : Indication : Hypertension (high blood pressure): Cilnidipine 10 Mg + Metoprolol 50 Mg ER (extended release) is primarily used for the management of hypertension to help lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disorders
Administration : The dosage and administration of this medication should be determined by a healthcare professional based on individual patient factors such as blood pressure levels, response to treatment, and tolerability.
Typically, it is taken orally once daily with or without food.
Storage : Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep from freezing.

Side Effects : Common side effects may include dizziness, headache, fatigue, flushing, swelling in the ankles or feet, and gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea or diarrhea.
Contraindications : Cilnidipine 20mg is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity (e.g., anaphylaxis or angioedema) to Cilnidipine or any other component of this product

Safety Advice / Warnings : This medicine may cause changes in blood sugar levels. Also, this medicine may cover up the symptoms of low blood sugar (including fast heartbeat) and increase the risk for serious or prolonged hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Check with your doctor if you notice a change in your normal symptoms or a change in the results of your blood or urine sugar tests.
This medicine may cause some people to become less alert than they are normally. If this side effect occurs, do not drive, use machines, or do anything else that could be dangerous if you are not alert while taking metoprolol
Dizziness, lightheadedness, or even fainting may occur when you get up suddenly from a lying or sitting position. Getting up slowly may help lessen this problem. Also, lying down for a while may relieve the dizziness or lightheadedness.
Abrupt discontinuation of beta-blockers like metoprolol can lead to rebound hypertension or worsening of angina symptoms and should be avoided.
Patients should not suddenly stop taking this medication without consulting their healthcare provider, as it may lead to adverse effects.
