Clopidogrel: It works by inhibiting platelet aggregation, which helps prevent blood clots from forming in the arteries. Clopidogrel is a platelet aggregation inhibitor that acts by irreversibly binding to the P2Y12 receptor on platelets, thereby inhibiting ADP-mediated platelet activation and aggregation. Aspirin: Aspirin works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), thereby preventing the synthesis of thromboxane A2, which is a potent platelet aggregator. This action reduces platelet aggregation and decreases the risk of blood clot formation.
