Introduction :

By inhibiting platelet aggregation, Clopidogrel 75Mg + Aspirin 75Mg tablet work together to prevent blood clots from forming in the arteries, thereby reducing the likelihood of cardiovascular complications. A heart attack or stroke may occur when a blood vessel is blocked by a blood clot. Clopidogrel 75mg reduces the chance that a harmful blood clot will form by preventing platelets from clumping together in the blood. Clopidogrel 75mg tablet may also increase the chance of serious bleeding in some people. This medicine is available only with your doctors prescription. Aspirin 75mg, a blood thinner, that prevents the formation of blood clots and the existing ones from growing bigger in size.

Indication :

Clopidogrel 75Mg + Aspirin 75Mg tablet is commonly indicated for the prevention of blood clots in individuals at risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attacks and strokes. It is prescribed to patients who have experienced acute coronary syndrome, myocardial infarction (heart attack), or ischemic stroke, or those with peripheral arterial disease. Take it regularly and make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthy and staying active) to maximize the effectiveness of this medicine.

Administration :

It is usually taken orally, once daily, with or without food, as directed by a healthcare professional. Swallow the tablets whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablets

Store this medication at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep it out of reach of children.

Mechanism of Action :

Clopidogrel: It works by inhibiting platelet aggregation, which helps prevent blood clots from forming in the arteries. Clopidogrel is a platelet aggregation inhibitor that acts by irreversibly binding to the P2Y12 receptor on platelets, thereby inhibiting ADP-mediated platelet activation and aggregation. Aspirin: Aspirin works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), thereby preventing the synthesis of thromboxane A2, which is a potent platelet aggregator. This action reduces platelet aggregation and decreases the risk of blood clot formation.

Safety Advice / Warnings :

Stay away from rough sports or other situations where you could be bruised, cut, or injured. Be careful when using sharp objects, including razors and fingernail clippers. Evidence and/or expert consensus has demonstrated harmful infant effects when used during breastfeeding. Avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice while using this medication Do not drink large amounts of alcohol with clopidogrel. This could cause unwanted effects on the liver. Call your doctor right away if you have dark-colored urine, fever, muscle cramps or spasms, muscle pain or stiffness, or unusual tiredness or weakness, this could be symptoms of kidney dysfunction Do no take any pain kiillers, or any other OTC medicine without consulting your doctor.
