Torsemide 100mg tablet is primarily prescribed for conditions associated with fluid retention, including: Congestive heart failure (edema) Hypertension (high blood pressure) Chronic kidney disease with edema Liver cirrhosis with ascites

Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor, usually once daily. It is best to avoid taking this medication within 4 hours of your bedtime to prevent having to get up to urinate. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.

Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep from freezing. Store Torsemide at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.

Common side effects may include excessive urination, dizziness, headache, low blood pressure, and electrolyte imbalances (such as low potassium levels).
