Introduction :

Etoricoxib 60 Mg + Paracetamol 325 Mg tablet is typically prescribed for the management of pain and inflammation associated with various conditions, such as: Osteoarthritis: Etoricoxib and paracetamol combination can help alleviate pain and improve joint function in patients with osteoarthritis, a degenerative joint disease characterized by joint pain and stiffness. Rheumatoid Arthritis: This combination may also be used in the management of rheumatoid arthritis to relieve pain, inflammation, and stiffness associated with the condition. Acute Pain: Etoricoxib and paracetamol combination can be used for the short-term management of acute pain, such as postoperative pain or pain due to injuries.

Indication :

This combination of Etoricoxib 60 Mg + Paracetamol 325 Mg medication is frequently prescribed for the management of pain associated with osteoarthritis, a degenerative joint disease characterized by joint pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. Etoricoxib and paracetamol combination can also be used for the short-term management of acute pain, such as postoperative pain or pain due to injuries.

Administration :

Administer orally with a full glass of water, as directed by the healthcare provider. The tablet can be taken with or without food. Do not crush or chew the tablet; swallow it whole.

Storage :

Store the medicine at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep out of the reach of children.

Mechanism of Action :

Etoricoxib: It is a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor that works by blocking the action of the enzyme COX-2, thereby reducing the production of prostaglandins, which are mediators of pain and inflammation. Paracetamol: It is a centrally acting analgesic and antipyretic agent that inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system, leading to pain relief and reduction of fever.
