Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.

Side effects may include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramping, fever, leg cramps, lethargy, mental confusion, decreased libido, irregular menses, and rash .

Avoid use of this drug during pregnancy and prescribe an alternative. Evidence has demonstrated fetal abnormalities or risks when used during pregnancy. Advise women of childbearing potential of fetal risk.

Hyperkalemia (high potassium in the blood) may occur while you are using this medicine.
