Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Take with meals to reduce gastrointestinal side effects caused by Metformin. Do not crush or chew the tablet unless advised. Take at the same time every day. Continue your prescribed diet, exercise, and blood glucose monitoring plan.
