How To Use of Gliclazide 60 Mg Sr Tablet
Tablets are for oral use. Take your tablet(s) with a glass of water (and preferably at the same time each day). Swallow the tablet or extended-release tablet whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush, break, or chew it. While taking the extended-release tablet, part of the tablet may pass into your stool after your body has absorbed the medicine. This is normal and nothing to worry about. Do not take these Tablets if you: • are allergic to Gliclazide or any of the other ingredients of this medicine, to other medicines of the same group (sulfonylureas), to other related medicines (hypoglycaemic sulphonamides) • have insulin-dependent diabetes (type 1) • suffer from severe kidney or liver disease • have ketone bodies and sugar in your urine (this may mean you have keto-acidosis) • suffer from a diabetic pre-coma and coma • are taking miconazole (a treatment for fungal infections) (see section • are breast-feeding (see Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility).
