Salmeterol Xinafoate selectively stimulates beta<sub>2</sub>-adrenergic receptors in the bronchial smooth muscle, producing prolonged bronchodilation for approximately 12 hours. Together, they improve airflow, reduce respiratory symptoms, and help prevent asthma and COPD exacerbations.
