Gliclazide 80 Mg + Metformin Hydrocloride 500 Mg + Voglibose 0.3 Mg

High blood sugar levels after meals, is a common problem in individuals with diabetes. Gliclazide 80 Mg + Metformin Hydrocloride 500 Mg + Voglibose 0.3 Mg combination medication is particularly effective in controlling postprandial hyperglycemia. Voglibose, an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor, delays the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates from the gut, thereby reducing the rise in blood sugar levels after meals. This medication is prescribed for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps control blood sugar levels by addressing multiple aspects of glucose metabolism.

It is typically taken orally, usually once or twice daily, with meals. Tablets are for oral use. Take your tablet(s) with a glass of water (and preferably at the same time each day). Swallow your tablets whole. Do not chew them.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not store above 25C. Store in the original package.

Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), Gastrointestinal discomfort (such as nausea, diarrhea, or abdominal pain), Weight gain (less common with metformin), Headache, Dizziness, Skin rash or itching, Hypersensitivity reactions (rare).

Patients should be advised to avoid excessive alcohol consumption while taking Gliclazide, as alcohol may potentiate the risk of hypoglycemia. Tablets are not recommended for use during pregnancy. If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine. You must not take this medicine while you are breast-feeding. Drinking alcohol is not recommended as it can alter the control of your diabetes in an unpredictable manner.
