How To Use of Insulin Isophane/nph 50% + Human Insulin/soluble Insulin 50% Injection
Use exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Administer by subcutaneous injection only. Inject into the abdomen, thigh, upper arm, or buttocks. Rotate injection sites regularly to reduce the risk of lipodystrophy. Usually administered about 30 minutes before meals, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Do not inject into a vein unless specifically instructed by a healthcare professional. Monitor blood glucose levels regularly.
Storage of Insulin Isophane/nph 50% + Human Insulin/soluble Insulin 50% Injection
Store unopened insulin at 2°C–8°C in a refrigerator. Do not freeze. Protect from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Once in use, the vial or cartridge may generally be stored below 25°C–30°C for up to 28 days, according to the manufacturer's instructions. Keep out of reach of children.
