How To Use of Loperamide 2 Mg Capsule
Take exactly as prescribed by your healthcare professional. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. May be taken with or without food. Maintain adequate hydration by drinking plenty of fluids or using Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS). Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Storage of Loperamide 2 Mg Capsule
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

Loperamide is a peripherally acting opioid receptor agonist that binds to μ-opioid receptors in the intestinal wall. It reduces intestinal muscle contractions, slows gastrointestinal transit time, increases water and electrolyte absorption, and decreases stool frequency without significant effects on the central nervous system when used at recommended doses.
