Ofloxacin 50 Mg + Metronidazole Benzoate 110 Mg + Simethicone 20 Mg

Take as directed by your doctor. Shake well before use. Measure the dose using a proper measuring cup. Can be taken with food to reduce stomach upset.

Store below 25–30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed.

Complete the full antibiotic course to prevent resistance. Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 48 hours after stopping (due to metronidazole). Use cautiously in children unless specifically prescribed. Inform your doctor if there is severe dehydration. If diarrhea persists for more than 2–3 days, consult a doctor.

Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone that exerts bactericidal activity by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV, thereby preventing DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination. Metronidazole undergoes intracellular reduction in anaerobic organisms to form reactive nitro radical intermediates, which interact with microbial DNA, causing strand breakage and inhibition of nucleic acid synthesis, leading to cell death. Simethicone is an inert, non-systemically absorbed surfactant that decreases surface tension of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract, promoting coalescence and facilitating elimination of entrapped gas.
