How To Use of Pirfenidone 400 Mg Tablet
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your physician. Take with food to reduce gastrointestinal side effects. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Follow the prescribed dose-escalation schedule if initiating therapy. Do not stop treatment without consulting your healthcare provider.

Contraindications of Pirfenidone 400 Mg Tablet

Mechanism of Pirfenidone 400 Mg Tablet
Pirfenidone exhibits antifibrotic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties by inhibiting the synthesis and activity of profibrotic cytokines, particularly transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α). This suppresses fibroblast proliferation and collagen deposition, thereby slowing the progression of pulmonary fibrosis and preserving lung function.
