Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. This product contains 3 medicationS . They work differently to relax the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily.These medications are used together when one drug is not controlling your blood pressure.
How To Use of Telmisartan 40 Mg + Amlodipine 5 Mg + Chlorthalidone 12.5 Mg Tablet
May be administered with or without food Tablets should not be removed from blisters until immediately before administration Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablet.

Using this medicine while you are pregnant can harm your unborn baby. Use an effective form of birth control to keep from getting pregnant. Mechanism of Telmisartan 40 Mg + Amlodipine 5 Mg + Chlorthalidone 12.5 Mg Tablet
Telmisartan is a nonpeptide angiotensin II antagonist that selectively blocks the binding of angiotensin II to the AT 1 receptors in vascular smooth muscle and the adrenal gland. In the renin-angiotensin system, angiotensin I is converted by angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) to form angiotensin II . Angiotensin II stimulates the adrenal cortex to synthesize and secrete aldosterone, which decreases the excretion of sodium and increases the excretion of potassium Amlodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that exerts its effect by blocking the transmembrane influx of calcium ions into cardiac and vascular smooth muscles. It also reduces peripheral vascular resistance and lowers blood pressure by acting directly on vascular smooth muscle. Its therapeutic effect on angina may be through a decrease in peripheral resistance (exertional angina) and inhibition of coronary spasm (vasospastic angina) Chlorthalidone is a thiazide diuretic that works by increasing the excretion of sodium and water from the body, leading to reduced blood volume and decreased blood pressure.
