How To Use of Telmisartan 40 Mg + Chlorthalidone 6.25 Mg + Metoprolol Succinate 25 Mg Tablet
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Usually taken once daily, preferably at the same time each day. Swallow the tablet whole with water. It may be taken with or without food. Do not crush or chew the tablet unless instructed otherwise. Do not stop taking the medication abruptly, especially because of the Metoprolol Succinate component. Continue treatment even if you feel well, as hypertension often has no noticeable symptoms.

Are allergic to Telmisartan, Chlorthalidone, Metoprolol, sulfonamide-derived medicines, or any ingredient in the formulation. Have severe kidney or liver impairment. Have anuria (absence of urine production). Have severe bradycardia, second- or third-degree heart block (without a pacemaker), cardiogenic shock, or uncontrolled heart failure. Have severe hypotension.

Monitor your blood pressure regularly. Your doctor may recommend periodic blood tests to assess kidney function and electrolyte levels. Stay adequately hydrated unless advised otherwise. Rise slowly from sitting or lying positions to reduce dizziness. Do not discontinue Metoprolol suddenly, as this may worsen heart conditions. Patients with diabetes should monitor blood glucose regularly because beta-blockers may mask symptoms of hypoglycemia. Limit alcohol intake, as it may increase dizziness and the blood pressure-lowering effect.

Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptors, relaxing blood vessels and reducing aldosterone-mediated sodium and water retention. Chlorthalidone inhibits sodium and chloride reabsorption in the distal convoluted tubules of the kidneys, increasing urine output and lowering blood volume. The 6.25 mg dose provides antihypertensive benefits while reducing the likelihood of dose-related electrolyte disturbances. Metoprolol Succinate selectively blocks beta-1 adrenergic receptors in the heart, slowing the heart rate, reducing cardiac contractility, and decreasing cardiac output, thereby lowering blood pressure and reducing cardiac workload.
