How To Use of
Acyclovir 400 Mg Tablet
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow with a glass of water, with or without food. Start treatment as early as possible after symptoms appear for maximum benefit. Complete the full course of therapy even if symptoms improve. Maintain adequate hydration during treatment.

Acyclovir 400 Mg Tablet
Are allergic to Acyclovir, Valacyclovir, or any ingredient in the formulation. Have severe kidney impairment without appropriate dose adjustment, unless advised by your doctor.
Safety Advice of
Acyclovir 400 Mg Tablet
Use only under medical supervision. Drink plenty of fluids during treatment to reduce the risk of kidney-related side effects. Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease, dehydration, or a weakened immune system. Acyclovir helps control herpes infections but does not eliminate the virus or completely prevent transmission to others.

Mechanism of
Acyclovir 400 Mg Tablet
Acyclovir is a synthetic nucleoside analogue antiviral. After activation by viral thymidine kinase, it inhibits viral DNA polymerase, preventing viral DNA synthesis and replication. This limits the multiplication of herpes viruses while having minimal effect on healthy human cells.
