Benidipine 4mg tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and prevent angina (heart-related chest pain). It lowers blood pressure and reduces the heart's workload, which helps prevent heart attacks and strokes. Benidipine 4mg tablet is a synthetic dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker used to treat hypertension and angina pectoris."

Benidipine 4mg tablet can be taken with or without food. Do not crush, break or chew the tablet. The dose prescribed is based on your situation, so avoid taking more or less than the amount prescribed by your doctor. This medicine is intended for long term treatment. Do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor as it can cause severe adverse effects.

Driving or operating machinery Using Benidipine may cause symptoms such as blurred vision, lightheadedness and dizziness. It is advised that you do not perform any activities such as driving vehicles or operating machines if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine. Use in elderly Benidipine should be used with caution in old people due to the increased risk of very low blood pressure. Your blood pressure needs to be monitored regularly while using this medicine. Your doctor will start the treatment at low doses and increase the dose based on the response.
