You are allergic to duloxetine or any of its ingredients. You are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have taken them within the last 14 days. You have uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma. You have severe liver disease or chronic heavy alcohol use. You have severe kidney impairment unless advised by your healthcare provider.

Avoid alcohol during treatment as it may increase the risk of liver damage and drowsiness. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.
