IBUPROFEN 100 MG + PARACETAMOL 125 MG

This combination is commonly used for the relief of fever and pain in children. It may be prescribed for: Fever due to infections, Post-vaccination fever, Toothache, Ear pain, Sore throat, Headache, Body aches Mild musculoskeletal pain

Take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs Use only as directed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the dose using a proper measuring cup or spoon. Dose is usually based on the child’s weight and age.

Store below 25–30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep tightly closed.

Side effects may include fluid retention, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, dyspepsia, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache.

Do not use without medical advice if: Known allergy to ibuprofen, paracetamol, or other NSAIDs History of stomach ulcers or bleeding Severe liver or kidney disease Severe dehydration

Advise pregnant patient / lactating mothers to avoid use beginning at 20 weeks gestation and later, as drug may cause fetal renal dysfunction/oligohydramnios and premature closure of ductus arteriosus Tell patient to take oral form with food or milk to minimize GI irritation. Patient should not drink alcohol or smoke while using this drug to reduce risk of GI bleeds. Do not give with other medicines containing paracetamol or ibuprofen. Avoid use in children with severe dehydration. Use cautiously in children with asthma. Do not exceed the prescribed dose (overdose can cause serious liver or kidney damage). If fever lasts more than 3 days, consult a doctor.
