Cefuroxime 500mg tablet is used in the treatment of infections caused by bacteria. It works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth. This medicine is available only with your doctor's prescription.
How To Use of Cefuroxime Axetil 500 Mg Tablet
Take this medication by mouth as directed by your doctor, usually twice daily (every 12 hours). Take cefuroxime with food to increase absorption and reduce stomach upset. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. Swallow the tablets whole. Do not crush or chew because the tablets have a strong bitter taste. Use the liquid suspension form of this medication if it is difficult to swallow the tablets.
