How To Use of
Clonidine 100 Mcg Tablet
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water. It may be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time every day. Do not stop taking Clonidine suddenly, as it may cause rebound hypertension and other withdrawal symptoms.

Mechanism of
Clonidine 100 Mcg Tablet
Clonidine selectively stimulates alpha-2 adrenergic receptors in the brainstem, reducing sympathetic nervous system outflow. This decreases the release of norepinephrine, resulting in reduced heart rate, relaxation of blood vessels, and lower blood pressure. Its central sympatholytic action also contributes to its usefulness in conditions such as withdrawal syndromes and ADHD.
