Dicyclomine Hydrochloride acts as an anticholinergic antispasmodic, blocking muscarinic receptors in the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract. This reduces involuntary muscle contractions and relieves abdominal cramps and spasms. Simethicone is an antiflatulent that decreases the surface tension of gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines, causing them to combine and be expelled more easily, thereby relieving bloating and flatulence.
