Metoprolol (Extended Release) 25 mg & Amlodipine 5 mg tablet is indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with monotherapy (single-drug therapy). It may also be used in patients with angina (chest pain) or certain types of heart rhythm disorders.

Take the tablet or extended-release tablet with a meal or just after you eat. Swallow the extended-release capsule or tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, break, or chew it.
