Mechanism of Mirabegron (er) 50 Mg Tablet
Mirabegron: Mirabegron selectively activates beta-3 adrenergic receptors located in the detrusor muscle of the urinary bladder. Activation of these receptors relaxes the bladder during the urine storage phase, increases bladder capacity, and reduces involuntary bladder contractions. This leads to decreased urinary urgency, frequency, nocturia, and episodes of urge urinary incontinence.
