Severe Bacterial Conjunctivitis: Treating painful, sticky, or pus-filled bacterial eye infections (pink eye). Post-Op Inflammation & Infection: Managing fluid swelling and preventing secondary bacterial infections after cataract, refractive, or laser eye surgeries [13.1]. Blepharitis & Keratitis: Managing severe inflammation and bacterial growth on the eyelids or the cornea.
How To Use of Moxistat L Eye Drop
Shake Well Before Use: This medicine is a suspension; always shake the dropper bottle thoroughly before every application to mix the fluid evenly. Sterile Hand Hygiene: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the dropper bottle. Create a Pocket: Tilt your head back slightly, look upward, and gently pull down your lower eyelid to form a small pocket.
Storage of Moxistat L Eye Drop

Side Effects of Moxistat L Eye Drop
Mild Local Stinging: May cause a brief burning, stinging, or watery feeling in the eye right after application. Temporary Blurred Sight: Can cause brief blurring or cloudiness in your sight right after you apply the thick suspension. Unusual Taste Notice: May cause a brief bitter or unusual taste in your mouth if the liquid drains through your tear ducts into your throat.
Contraindications of Moxistat L Eye Drop
Viral and Fungal Eye Infections: Never use this product if the eye condition is caused by a virus (like herpes simplex or chickenpox) or an active fungal growth.
Safety Advice of Moxistat L Eye Drop
Finish the Full Course: Always use the drops for the exact number of days prescribed by your doctor, even if the pain stops, to prevent bacteria from coming back stronger. No Contact Lenses: Do not wear contact lenses while treating a bacterial eye infection, as lenses can trap the bacteria against your eye. Do Not Use Long-Term: Avoid overusing steroid drops. Even though this is a soft steroid, using it too long without a doctor checking your eyes can raise eyeball fluid pressure (glaucoma).
