Mechanism of Pathlon Antiseptic Liquid
Chlorhexidine Gluconate disrupts the bacterial cell membrane, causing leakage of cellular contents and bacterial cell death. Cetrimide, a quaternary ammonium compound, lowers surface tension and damages microbial cell membranes, enhancing cleansing and antimicrobial activity. Together, they provide broad-spectrum antiseptic protection against bacteria and some fungi.
