How To Use of Ranolazine Sr 1000 Mg Tablet
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the sustained-release tablet whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or split the tablet. It may be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time each day. Do not exceed the prescribed dose. If you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose.

Mechanism of Ranolazine Sr 1000 Mg Tablet
Ranolazine selectively inhibits the late inward sodium current (late INa) in cardiac myocytes. By reducing intracellular sodium accumulation, it indirectly decreases calcium overload through the sodium-calcium exchanger. This improves myocardial relaxation during diastole, reduces left ventricular wall tension, and decreases myocardial oxygen consumption, thereby relieving symptoms of chronic angina without significantly affecting heart rate or blood pressure.
