How To Use of Silodosin 8 Mg Tablet
Take Silodosin 8 mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Take once daily with a meal, preferably the same meal each day. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet. Continue taking the medicine regularly even if symptoms improve unless advised otherwise. If a dose is missed, take it when remembered unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose.
Storage of Silodosin 8 Mg Tablet
Store at room temperature (20°C–25°C). Keep in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight.

Mechanism of Silodosin 8 Mg Tablet
Silodosin is a highly selective alpha-1A adrenergic receptor antagonist. It selectively blocks alpha-1A receptors located in the smooth muscle of the prostate, bladder neck, and prostatic urethra. This relaxation decreases bladder outlet resistance, improves urine flow, and relieves lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia, while having minimal effect on blood pressure due to its receptor selectivity.
