How To Use of Tamsulosin Hcl 0.4 Mg (er) Capsule
Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The usual dose is one capsule once daily. Take 30 minutes after the same meal each day, preferably after breakfast. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or open the extended-release capsule. Continue treatment regularly even if symptoms improve unless advised otherwise by your doctor.

Take the capsule at the same time every day after the same meal. Rise slowly from sitting or lying positions to minimize dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery if you experience dizziness or fainting. Inform your doctor about all medicines you are taking, especially blood pressure medicines, other alpha-blockers, PDE-5 inhibitors (such as sildenafil or tadalafil), ketoconazole, erythromycin, or cimetidine. Inform your eye surgeon before cataract or glaucoma surgery if you are taking or have taken Tamsulosin.
