How To Use of Thyroxine Sodium 37.50 Mcg Tablet
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Usually taken once daily, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach, at least 30–60 minutes before breakfast. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Take it at the same time every day. Avoid taking calcium supplements, iron supplements, antacids, soy products, or high-fiber foods within 4 hours of taking the medicine, as they may reduce absorption. Do not stop or change the dose without consulting your doctor.

Levothyroxine Sodium is a synthetic form of thyroxine (T4). After oral administration, it is converted in peripheral tissues to triiodothyronine (T3), the biologically active thyroid hormone. T3 binds to nuclear thyroid hormone receptors and regulates the expression of genes involved in metabolism, growth, development, protein synthesis, oxygen consumption, and energy production.
