By lowering blood pressure, this medication helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attacks, strokes, and other complications associated with hypertension.
How To Use of Olmesartan Medoxomil 40 Mg + Chlorthalidone 12.50 Mg
This medicine may be taken with or without food. In addition to taking this medicine, treatment for your high blood pressure may include weight control and a change in the foods you eat, especially foods high in sodium (salt). Your doctor will tell you which of these are most important for you.

Alcohol or marijuana (cannabis) can make you more dizzy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs alertness until you can do it safely. Severe, chronic diarrhea with weight loss may develop months to years after taking this medicine. Tell your doctor right away if you have these symptoms. Do report symptoms of potassium loss Side effects may include hypotension, dizziness, and renal dysfunction Do not drink alcohol while taking this drug, as this may aggravate hypotension.
