PRASUGREL HYDROCHLORIDE 10 MG

Introduction :

Prasugrel 10mg tablet is used to prevent strokes, heart attacks, or other serious problems with your heart or blood vessels. Prasugrel 10mg tablet is given to patients before they have a heart procedure called percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). A heart attack or stroke may occur when a blood vessel in the heart or brain is blocked by a blood clot. Prasugrel 10mg tablet reduces the chance that a harmful blood clot will form by preventing certain cells in the blood from clumping or sticking together. Prasugrel may also increase the chance for serious bleeding in some people. This medicine is available only with your doctors prescription.

Indication :

Prasugrel 10mg tablet is a medication primarily used for the prevention of blood clots in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS), specifically those undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures, such as angioplasty or stent placement. Prasugrel 10mg tablet is particularly beneficial for patients undergoing PCI procedures, where stents are placed in narrowed or blocked coronary arteries to restore blood flow to the heart muscle.
