FLUCONAZOLE 150 MG

FLUCONAZOLE 150 MG tablet is used to treat serious fungal or yeast infections, including vaginal candidiasis, oropharyngeal candidiasis (thrush, oral thrush), esophageal candidiasis (candida esophagitis), other candida infections (including urinary tract infections, peritonitis [inflammation of the lining of the stomach], and infections that may occur in different parts of the body), or fungal (cryptococcal) meningitis. It is also used in children on life support called extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). This medicine works by killing the fungus or yeast, or preventing its growth. FLUCONAZOLE 150 MG tablet is also used to prevent candidiasis in patients having bone marrow transplants who receive cancer or radiation treatment. This medicine is available only with your doctors prescription.

FLUCONAZOLE 150 MG TAB is used to treat fungal infections of the mouth, throat, vagina, and other parts of the body including fingernails and toenails. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane thereby stopping the growth of fungi.

You may take this medicine with or without food. Keep using this medicine for the full treatment time, even if you feel better after the first few doses. Your infection may not clear up if you stop using the medicine too soon.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight.

Side effects may include headache, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dyspepsia, and taste perversion
